Gill and Clive in France

"What it means in the main is that we will continue to be Europeans, that I think is the driving force behind that decision, consequent to Brexit ... we want to be seen as being full and committed citizens of the country where we live, and we want to be seen as being full and contributing citizens within our community as well, so it's a tiered thing, it's being committed to our community, it's being committed to our region, département, and committed to France as a nation and, most importantly really, committed to Europe."

Gill and Clive's testimony is part of our Brexit Brits Abroad podcast series. Take a listen to them talking with Michaela about  their decision to apply for French citizenship and how this is about much more than maintaining their rights as European citizens.
